Patria AñoradaA CD by Rafael Antonio Nazario. "Nuevo Latino," "Nueva Salsa," "Trova Nueva" are some of the terms that have been used to describe it.
A–oro in Spanish means to yearn. Patria means country, homeland (as in fatherland). Thus Patria A–orada means the yearned-for homeland, but also could be read as, longing for the homeland.
On Patria A®¢orada, Rafael explores the ties that still bind him to his place of birth, the Carribbean isle, Puerto Rico.
